HAPPY BIRTHDAY, LordXanathos!
It occurs to me, belatedly, that Dejected Torid might not be the best picture for a happy birthday, but on the other hand Xan's characters are not known for their carefree, upbeat attitudes.
So! Here we have Dalin Torid being all gloomy due to being sent to Bajor. The overall colour scheme, Bajor's verdant green tinted chilly blue with not-so-subtle patches of gloomy grey, I think must fit Torid's feelings on his arrival. The deep shadows add to the mood.
And finally, as Xan would say, the Cardassian uniform design is a b—eautiful thing.
